Alex Anderson, PE, CFM
Associate, Hydraulic Engineer
Aquatic Habitat Design and Restoration, Flood Hazard Assessment and Risk Management, River Engineering, Floodplain and Sediment Management
My work focuses primarily on the hydrology and hydraulics of river systems and how those systems interact with the built environment. To that end, I lead and manage flood hazard assessments, flood mapping studies, levee improvement projects, fish passage projects, and other multidisciplinary projects with a strong hydraulic component. I view my job through a customer service lens. My goal on every project is to tailor an approach that efficiently meets the client’s needs, deliver high-quality technical work, and communicate the results clearly and concisely. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, gardening, spending time with my family, and summer vacations at the family cabin at Lake Tahoe.
