Flood Hazard Assessment and Risk Management, Hydrology, Climate Change, and Water Management, Water Quality and Stormwater Management
I am a Principal and our Corporate Lead Urban Hydrology with over 35 years of experience in the fields of hydrological studies, urban networks modelling, water resources, and glaciological studies. Currently, I specialize in stormwater management and have published extensively on the subject, including a book in 1998 and as the author of the 2011 Quebec Stormwater Management Guidelines. I have managed numerous projects involving development of master plans for sewer and waterworks systems, and hydraulic and hydrologic analyses for bridges, floodplain management, and dams. I am also involved in committees at the national and international levels dealing with low impact development, water resources management, and flooding risk assessment. Outside of work, I listen to and play Jazz – I used to be a semi-professional guitar player.
