I am a Principal Engineer managing NHC’s Olympia, WA office and have PE licenses in Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. My focus is in the fields of hydrology, hydraulics, scour, river engineering, and fish passage, while specializing in the hydraulic design of transportation facilities. I lead collaborative interdisciplinary teams of water resources and infrastructure specialists working with multiple stakeholders and communities. One recent project has involved design of the new US 101 bridge over the Elwha River following dam removal. At NHC, I enjoy working with other experts on many of the rivers and streams I played in as a kid. Away from work, I enjoy coaching my kids’ baseball and basketball teams, camping, fishing, hiking, riding my dirt bike, and working on my 1973 Bronco.
